Due to our increased ambitions within Research and Development (R&D), we are now looking for a Product Development Engineer for our Milling department in Sandviken. As a Product Development Engineer in our team you will play a central part in securing our position as a leading global supplier of tools within metal cutting. As a member of our team, you will work with inspiring, friendly and very skilled colleagues, and together we will develop and design outstanding tools for the metal cutting industry, while having a lot of fun. Your primary role will be to focus on new products function, but you will also play an important role in designing inserts as well as the complete tool. You will also plan and carry out tests in our local test facilities and globally in our customers' production.

Your profile
We expect that you have a degree in engineering, or the equivalent work experience. You need to have product development, design and simulation experience, CAD experience is advantageous. Experience within the field of metal cutting is a requirement. As the work involves some international contacts, English is required, while Swedish is an advantage. You also need to be able to do some traveling.

As an individual you are open to new ideas and new challenges, are driven and gladly take the initiative. You are structured in your work and have an analytical working style. You are also a team player, with the ambition to develop, learn and solve problems.
