Saab Automobile AB is looking for a Product Engineer - Electrical, Electronics and Infotainment.Accessory Engineering are seeking a suitable candidate to support Global Accessory Engineering development.Aftermarket products and enhancements are a growth business for both GME and GM globally.Based in Trollhättan we are seeking a Product Engineer / Design Release Engineer ( DRE ). Duties: You will be responsible for the development, integration and execution of accessories in the fields of electrical, electronic and infotainment.. You will define technical requirements for Aftermarket Products and necessary provisions in the vehicle.. Create Component Technical Specifications in accordance with relevant legal requirements.. Develop and execute project plans in accordance with both internal and external milestones and timing.. In applicable cases be the GME lead engineer for specific common developed accessories.. You will lead external contractors and/or suppliers in accessory development..Establish and maintain communication in Global/Regional Engineering teams.. Responsible for Engineering specifications for sourcing within global programs. Qualifications: University degree or higher technical education together with practical working experience.You will bring experience from automotive engineering, complex vehicle projects using GVDP with specialist knowledge in the electrical, electronics or infotainment fields.You are up to date with knowledge of the latest and future trends and technologies in related fields.To manage this position you must be fluent in spoken and written English, have good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as a team member.You should be able to work cross-region and cross functionally which includes travelling.Union representatives are Anette Hellgren (SIF) tel.+46 (0)520-851 55
