Product Engineer - Electronics and Infotainment within an expanding business.Refno: 432 Aftermarket products and enhancements are a growth business for both GME and GM globally.We are therefore seeking suitable candidates to support our GME Accessory Engineering development. Based in Trollhättan, Accessory Engineering within GME Aftersales are seeking a Product Engineer / Design Release Engineer ( DRE ) who will be responsible for the development and integration of aftermarket products into new and current vehicle programmes.You will be responsible for the development, integration and execution of accessories in the fields of electrical, electronic and infotainment - You will define technical requirements for Aftermarket Products and necessary provisions in the vehicle.- Create Component Technical Specifications for GM derived products in accordance with relevant legal requirements.- Develop and execute project plans in accordance with both internal and external milestones and timing - You are able to work cross-region and cross functionally, - Set targets of cost, time, functionality, performance and quality.-In applicable cases be the GME lead engineer for specific common developed accessories.-You will lead external contractors &/or suppliers in accessory development.- Establish and maintain contact/communication in Global/ Regional Engineering teams - Responsible for Engineering specifications for sourcing within global programs - Female / male with a university degree / higher technical education together with practical working experience.- Documented experience of working in complex vehicle projects using GVDP - Strong background in automotive engineering with specialist knowledge in the electrical, electronics and infotainment fields.- Up to date knowledge of latest and future trends and technologies in this and related fields.- Good command in English with good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team - Have a high working capacity, and spirit of cooperation and flexibility.- Willingness to travel if required in conjunction with project development and execution.- Knowledge of CAD (Unigraphics ) together with other simulation tools and techneques is an advantage
