This position is based in Uppsala with flexibility to work from home, where Thermo Fisher develop, manufacture, and market complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide, and 1,000 in Sweden, we are the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
How will you make an impact?
As a Manager you will lead the Product Information team belonging to the IDD Product Compliance function under QA/RA. The team consists of Product Information experts/coordinators, technical writers, and Senior Leads.
The unit creates and updates product information in the form of instrument and software manuals, operating instructions (DfUs), labels and decor. The product information is produced in accordance with regulatory, design, environmental and market requirements to ensure that Thermo Fisher's in-vitro diagnostic systems are used safely and efficiently.
This team facilitates IDD’s ability to obtain and maintain global market access. As we expand our offering internationally you will play a key role in making our products available to more patients.
What will you do?
Lead, staff and organize the business to achieve agreed goals.
Secure resources and competence in team.
Establish strategic plans for the area of ​​responsibility.
Ensure that the business is run in accordance with IDD's quality system and business goals.
Establish a budget and monitor the group's costs and investments
Conduct business development within the area of ​​responsibility
Ensure effectiveness and high-quality outcomes through continuous improvement and standardization of work processes.
Represent Product Information in IDD projects and governing forums



Required qualifications:
A Master’s degree in the engineering, natural sciences, or related field or equivalent
2+ years’ experience working as a team manager
Experience from working in the life-science industry governed by regulations such as ISO13485 and QSR
Experience from working with regulatory affairs or quality assurance is advantageous

Ability to navigate uncertainty and to creatively manage obstacles

Excellent communication skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish are required
