Product Line Buyer to SKF

You will be a member of the Gothenburg Purchasing Team for direct material at Group Purchasing which serves as a link between Category Managers and Factory Gothenburg.As a Product Line Buyer you will drive projects to improve SKF s Supplier base together with Category and Factory. Skills within Purchasing are a pre-requisite for the position. We believe you are in the beginning of your career with a couple of years working experience.

Job responsibilities:
Execute operational purchasing for the Product Line to support factories
Perform Product Line purchasing to defined strategies
To be a project leader in implementing sourcing projects
Support the factory in order to resolve issues
To search for new ideas
Analyze spend data to find opportunities for cost reduction, e.g. supplier consolidation, specification rationalization, variant reduction, best cost country sourcing etc. 
Measure and manage supplier performance in all Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation and Management (QCDIM) aspects 
Manage Supplier Relationships (SRM) for selected suppliers
Manage internal stakeholder relationships



Your background
Relevant university degree in engineering, economics, purchasing or 
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Purchasing experience is preferred
Good skills in project management is preferred
Ability to travel occasionally 0-15 days/year
