Product Manager

Prover Technology is the world's leading provider of development tools for embedded systems in rail/transit. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in San Francisco and Toulouse, and customers in more than 25 countries. We are looking for a Product Manager that will own and maintain product roadmaps and related technical documentation for our product suite Prover iLock. This is a cross functional-role. You will work closely with marketing, R&D application engineering and sales. PRODUCT PLANNING You will collect requirements from railway operators and suppliers world-wide for a wide range of technologies including interlocking systems, CBTC, ATP and ERTMS, and ensure that R&D objectives are synchronized with demands from external and internal customers and the long-term product vision. You will drive trade-off decisions between features and schedules, and collaborate with QA on certification plans. A strong track record in delivering software on time and on budget is a big plus. PRODUCT MARKETING You will assist in producing technical product documentation for internal and external customers. This includes technical white papers covering Prover iLock and its associated specification language PiSPEC, customer success stories, software documentation, language reference manuals, training materials, and PowerPoint presentations. DESIRED PROFILE . Strong commitment to roadmaps and ability to work with a great degree of independence . Organized and able to manage priorities effectively . Excellent skills in working cross-functionally - negotiation, building consensus . Customer focused . Demonstrated capability to understand requirements and tradeoffs between features, schedule, costs, quality, etc . Willingness to travel JOB REQUIREMENTS . Fluent in English. Additional language skills are a big plus: Swedish, French, Chinese, Italian, German, Spanish . 5-10 years of experience in software development. Degree in computer science or similar (bachelor or higher) is required. At least 3 years of experience in technical marketing or a related function is strongly desired. . Strongly preferred: experience in predicate logic and railway signalling technologies, processes and standards. You will be located in Stockholm and report to the CMO.
