Stoneridge’s Electronics Division is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of vehicle electronics, including driver information systems, tachograph systems, connectivity and controls modules and vision systems.

Stoneridge is now looking for their next Product Manager to be part of growing the company on the leading edge of technology. As a product manager at Stoneridge Electronics, you will be supervising the product portfolio strategies for the driver information systems to meet SRE targets on growth and profitability, as well as manage the products to maximize long term growth and profitability. The product area is Stoneridge’s largest and consists of products and solutions such as customized displays and information products. This is a central role where you will play a substantial part in the operational and strategic work of understanding market demands and deliver on them. You will also have a more overall responsibility for the segment and its development.

You will for example;


• Formulate product strategies.
• Review and authorize product pricing and co-ordinate with customers through sales organization.


• Review and authorize project pricing throughout product life cycle for design changes and other project related work.
• Manage the work to create the yearly business plan for the driver information system segment.
• Co-ordinate the SRE quotation activities between sales organization, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and aftermarket.
• Initiate activities to maintain the profitability for the products within the segment.
• Handle customer relations with customers to ensure their satisfaction.


• Collect and document VoC for products with the segment

Who you are

To be successful in this role, we believe that you are business-minded with a strong commercial focus and deep technical knowledge. You have experience from initiating and leading projects, working with internal and external stakeholders to secure product development and being the preferred partner to customers.

Moreover, we see that you have:


• Several years successfully performing in a Product Manager role or similar
• Experience from engineering, sales or marketing functions


• Background from the Automotive industry
• Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike
• University degree in engineering

 

As a person you are collaborative and strategic, with the integrity to prioritize and take actions which sets the roadmap for the future of the business unit. Moreover, you are an influencer and a good communicator with a strength in building relations both internally and externally.
