Bewator is the leading supplier of security products and systems in Europe within the areas of access control, integrated security systems and video control. Bewator have about 300 employees worldwide with headquarters in Solna, Sweden. Since the end of 2005 Bewator is a centre of competence within Siemens Building Technologies (SBT) for products and solutions within Access Security. We are now recruiting a new team to build access control profile material and support under the Siemens brand for roll out to the worldwide Siemens sales organisations. Product Marketing Specialist This marketing function works in close cooperation with product management to translate technical product content into customer value propositions and market messages. The role as product marketing specialist involves technical, marketing and commercial business skills. Your profile: You have a thorough understanding of marketing and the tools needed in order to convey a message to different types of customers. You have experience from working with products within access control and an understanding of the needs of end-users, systems integrators, consultants and specifiers. A technical background or a genuine interest in technology is a definite plus. You are committed to keeping deadlines and understand the importance of brand recognition and consistency. We want you to be a creative, analytical and business driven person who is able to take responsibility and initiative to develop the product line. The ability to prioritise and handle different projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast paced environment are vital qualities we are looking for. You have at least 3 years of working experience, including some international experience. Fluent in English is a must. Knowledge in Swedish or German is a definite plus. The role will involve around 30 days of travel per year. Your role and responsibilities: Understand market needs and drivers, translating technical product content into customer value propositions and messages Take an active role in product launch process Benchmark product marketing argumentation and activities with competitors Support Marketing communication organisations in Zug (Siemens Building Technologies head office) and Solna (Bewator head office) Support regional marketing organisations within Siemens Building Technologies and Bewator Take an active part in the creation of marketing material such as product brochures, system descriptions etc. Be the product marketing advisor for exhibitions, internal demo facilities etc. The position is based in Solna, Stockholm.
