You and your team will play an instrumental role in our development projects where you are leading the team focusing on optimizing the customer user experience as well as cost-effective operation.

We are looking for a person with a genuine interest in technology development as well as a passion for building teams and motivating people.

To be successful you need to be good at creating structure and excel in the communication of complex matters to stakeholders at all levels in the company. We believe you have a good level of understanding and interest in technologies within connected home (IoT) and alarm systems.

The role of the Product Optimization & Quality Manager will be located at our R&D Center in Malmö, Sweden. As we are a global company with multiple R&D centers and having our operations and suppliers worldwide, travel will be required now and then.

Main Responsibilities

In collaboration with stakeholders and the engineering teams:
* Build and lead a team of talented engineers focusing on optimizing our products & services.
* Work closely with all country operations securing that we constantly work with optimizing and tuning our products and services to a best in class level of quality and user experience
* Ensure that lessons-learned and all relevant field data are proactively analyzed and used when developing our new products & services - securing the link between the field and the engineering teams
* Ensure global alignment around our quality goals and ways of working with quality
* Ensure a proper and proactive way to secure that our products and services are certified and validated in a correct way
* Secure and foster great teamwork and collaboration with other organizations within Verisure

Required Qualifications

The role as Product Optimization & Quality Manager requires profound and documented experience from products & service development in technical complex systems. Successfully proven leadership and excellent ability in creating good teamwork within and across teams are required for this role.

You have proven experience in:
* successfully leading teams in a development context
* working with Product Development in technical complex systems optimized on business value
* product/service quality and analytics in a highly technical context
* managing and driving products through CE and EN certifications
* agile methodologies and tools, we use Jira and Confluence among other tools
* optimizing business value in a product and service development context
* working in a global multi-national environment

Personal Characteristics

We are looking for a truly positive and enthusiastic person that can anticipate constraints and identify optimization or alternative solutions.

You have great communication skills (both written and verbal) and have a structured approach in combination with a strong drive for results.

It is natural for you to take a leadership role in teams and you work in a systematic, methodical way to achieve the project goals. 

You are highly analytical, having both a good holistic view as well as strong attention to detail, being eager to develop your job knowledge and expertise (theoretical and practical) through continual professional development.

You enjoy working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.

You are a proven team player who supports others in our team, shares information when needed and helps to build a great team spirit.
