As a product owner at Kambi you will serve a key role being responsible for planning and prioritizing product development that will improve our sportsbook service. You will handle new functionality throughout the whole chain from idea to production with the mindset to build great products.

You will get the chance to directly impact our strategy and set the vision together with other product owners. We want you to find creative solution drafts and iterate those continuously all the way to production. We want you to take responsibility for all non-technical decisions to drive the product forward.

In this role, you will collaborate with large parts of the organization such as business stakeholders, analysts, operators, partners, development teams and architects. A product owner at Kambi has a lot of responsibility and a large degree of freedom.

For this position we are looking for someone to work together with one of our full-stack development teams located in Uppsala. The main responsibility will initially be to improve our content management and differentiation capabilities with the aim of enabling the creation of a highly relevant user experiences for a wide range of users.

Responsibilities:

A Kambi Product Owner takes a holistic role from strategic Product Development Management to tactical Agile Product Ownership. This includes:

• Create, maintain and refine product visions
• Discover product development opportunities together with stakeholders
• Discover, slice and plan what value to build, driven by hypothesis in a data-driven manner.
• Prove that the efforts of you and your development team produces value
• Communicate and educate on your products with the support of communication experts
• Own the product backlog, plan and lead refinement sessions/groomings as the product expert
• Perform the Agile Product Owner craft - including daily Scrum standups, team backlog ownership and delivery updates
• When needed, engage with and present to customers and users globally

We expect you to:

• Have proved ability to understand complex technical environments and have relevant experience in creating high-scalability applications
• Have complete understanding of the product owner role and what is expected of you when working with development teams
• Be comfortable with driving product discovery, which depending on the specific product and need may require vastly different methods.
• Have an interest or experience for Gaming Industry and Sportsbook as product

We just moved to our new office in “Juvelen” in central Uppsala. Some traveling to our Stockholm office is required in this role, especially during the first year.

There will be opportunities to travel to our other offices and learn the business from the inside. Candidates must from time to time be willing to travel visiting business partners, venues and exhibitions around the world.
