About us
The Infotainment department belongs to the In-Car Digital product stream at Volvo Cars. We work in an agile environment to ensure adaptability and flexibility and we put quality on top of our priorities. Continuous improvement is a part of each individual´s and team’s mission and we promote collaborations within the Company´s growing in-house software community.

What’s in it for you?
You will join a team working in the forefront of the Infotainment system industry with a solution based on Android running natively in our cars, a pioneering product developed in close collaboration with Google. You will have the role to decide your area’s short and long-term vision based on business value and product needs, with support from your team, tech leads, Product Owner colleagues and Product Manager.

What you will do
• Articulating and consistently emphasizing the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders
• Participating as a member of the extended Product Management team, review, and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations
• Creating features and stories, including enablers, with acceptance criteria’s for the Team Backlog, taking part in the team’s backlog refinement.
• Validating features according to acceptance criteria and take part in release handling
• Coordinating content dependencies with other Product Owners
• Being available for the team’s questions and support in escalations

You and your skills
You are experienced in driving product development as a Software Product Owner, Product Manager or equivalent role. You believe in building relationships with teams and global stakeholders, inspiring and motivating others working towards a goal. You are curious, user-focused, and thrive for further innovation and improvement, bringing greater value to the business. You have previous experience of agile development methodologies. You are excellent in communication, and speak fluent English. To be able to test drive our cars you need to hold a drivers license.
