Background

Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey. As part of this transformation, we have created a global organization (100+ people) to update our digital product lifecycle management, configuration and supply chain capabilities to better fulfill our customer needs. We are setting ourselves up to work agile, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). We are looking for a product owner for the order flow for configured products.

About the job

As product owner you will work closely together with the business stake holders, product management, enterprise architects and delivery organization to specify requirements and needs. You will participate in analysis, design, build, deploy and support of the solutions.

You will be owning and maintaining the product backlog including everything from smaller enhancements to bigger features.

The product you will be responsible for is a global order viewer system, that is a crucial tool for several user groups in the organization. Order information needs to be transferred between different applications, and as an application for both receiving and sending data the tool acts as a central hub for many of these processes. The tool is a cloud-based application that interacts with M-ERP systems, document databases, CAD drawing applications, and more.

You and the team will work in close collaboration with our business stake holders to deliver functionalities related to order handling in the factories all over the world for:
* generating documents: drawings, assembly instructions, etc.
* viewing order details when communicating with customers.
* generating sales reports and analytics.

What you know

You are a strong communicator with good presentation skills. You have a technical background, and a solid understanding of IT solutions. You have experience from Agile development methodologies and Scrum. It’s beneficial if you also have experience from working with the SAFe framework, as well as order processes and solutions.
