Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.


We are now looking for a Product Owner of the Marketplace channel within the ecosystem of Customer Connect.
You will lead a team of dedicated colleagues developing and operating The Marketplace product, which enables for modern sales of digital services for Brands within the Volvo Group.
The channel is a central part of an eco-system consisting of three parts; Developer Portal (build), Marketplace (buy) and Customer Portal (use). The channel enables Brands and Partners to launch, market and sell digital services directly to the end-customer. All through an easy checkout-out with various payment methods.

The role
As Product Owner your focus will be to drive a product vision through all stages of its lifecycle by setting the roadmap and managing and prioritizing the backlog. You will act to secure that features are delivered in time and drive quality through the product life-cycle. You will be responsible of planning for competence and budget needed accordingly.
You will act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team. You will be working in a social environment, which requires you to be a communicative person with good abilities in building and maintaining strong relationships.
You will lead, plan and report the ongoing work in relevant foras and communities.

Your profile
Most important of all is your personality and desire to drive a product concept. More than that, we believe that you have long experience from working within a field close to or within product management. You are used to taking responsibility and have the ability to communicate on different levels and with different kind of people.
As a Product Owner you are a social person with passion for people and enjoy working with others. You have strong leadership courage, entrepreneurial spirit and strong ownership mentality
The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
We also believe you have:
A university degree in a relevant field
Experience of product management
Knowledge from working with Service design and User Experience centric solutions
Experience from other e-commerce solutions
Great knowledge and/or ability in creating and presenting product roadmaps and status reports
User knowledge within tools used in product management and in the border of product development
“Data driven decision taking” mind-set using Google Analytics, user feedback eg

We believe you have strong business understanding and great relationship-building skills. Your outstanding ability to coach and encourage others makes your environment thrive and grow!
You are:
Fluent in English - both written and spoken
Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen
