Product Platform - Early Phases Project Leader

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America General: Product Platform is responsible for the complete wheel loader including quality, cost and feature level. This includes, among other things, to specify product targets, select concepts, develop new functionality and specify sub system requirements to meet product targets and to lead early phases from FS to Concept Gate The Medium and Large Loader Platform range L45-L350 has a lot of big challenges for the future and therefore we need to strengthen our departments with additional early phases leaders to be able to meet these challenges. Main Responsibilities: Manage and lead the early phases project when it comes to future wheel loaders within the range of L45-L350. Also act as the wheel loader product specialist in the early phases to secure that we set the right machine before going into concept study. Competence: Master of science in engineering or equivalent experience Project management experience GDP and Early phases experiences High knowledge on wheel loader products Customer focused and good analytical skills to understand the true need of customers Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated and able to manage time and prioritize work load Proficient in written and spoken English is required
