Purpose of your job
As Product Safety Assurance Manager you are responsible for providing assurance that the signaling system meets its safety requirements.
You will plan and perform hazard analysis, review design and test documentation, and provide an independent opinion on the suitability of the signaling system to satisfy its safety requirements.
You will work with project team to ensure compliance with internal processes and safety standards.
This position requires working on the project from the start-up, to provide the project team with expert guidance to a successful safety assessment.

Your responsibilities:
-Planning: Develop system safety plans and prepare all activities required to provide assurance that the signaling subsystems, and its integrated systems, satisfy their safety requirements, in accordance with the company procedures and applicable safety standards

-Safety Analysis and Reviews: Work with project team members to perform safety analysis; ensure all hazards are identified and recorded in the project hazard log and sufficient safety requirements are identified to mitigate the hazards, any non-conformities are addressed, and all hazards closed out in an appropriate manner through elimination or risks control/transfer measures. Participate the review of requirements, requirements traceability, test plans and procedures, verification reports, test results, software and/or hardware changes, and record its deviations in the review record. Provide feedback to the project team members.

-Reporting: Prepare system safety case to present the results of the safety and validation activities. Interface with Safety Assessor and coordinate the activities required to achieve a successful safety assessment. Provide agreement/disagreement for the release of subsystems / system to their intended application environment.

-Safety Audits: Perform safety audits, generate audit reports and follow-up audit findings.

Your qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or higher education in engineering or computer science
• Senior relevant experience in Product safety
• Functional Safety Standards (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN61508, ISO 26262, IEC 61513, IEC 61511, IEC 61513)
• Hazard Identification techniques: HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, DILO
• Software Architecture, Development, Tests experience is appreciated
• One or more typical Railway Operations such as ERTMS/ETCS, LZB, PZB, ATB, SCMT, SHP ATC2, CBTC
• Typical Railway Authorization Procedures such as TSI CCS, Common Safety Methods
• Fluent English is mandatory, Swedish skills can be a plus
