Product Safety Specialist

We are looking for a Product Safety Specialist to Stora Enso Skoghall Mill. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating product safety compliance for the barrier coated portfolio produced in our barrier coating mill in Forshaga. You report to Quality Manager in Skoghall.

This is a new role with focus to develop, lead and coordinate product safety framework for barrier coated board and new packaging solutions.
Main responsibilities:
· Develop, lead and coordinate product safety framework for barrier coated products
· Interpret legislation and standards and apply the requirements to products under investigation
· Create and implement test procedures
· Be the main contact with customers in product safety related topics
· Cooperate with Product Safety Specialist in Packaging Materials mills and Innovation and R&D
· Be updated on new legislation and customer demands for renewable packaging materials

Qualifications
Are you the one? In order to succeed in this role, you have a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in chemistry. You have a background in product safety or research, and you have experience in standardized documentation. You are a good communicator used to customer contacts and you communicate fluently in English.
