Job description
Are you a driven person with great communication skills and experience as Product Specialist? Do you have a technical degree and knowledge from textile or smart products? We are looking for a Product specialist to join the team who is responsible for products within the PPE (personal protective equipment).


At the product department you are very much in the center of attention, which also puts demands on us to be versatile, problem solving and to be service directed. The client work in a global environment with many interaction points internally as well externally. Internally they work close with R&D, sourcing and marketing, externally towards our sales companies but also with our supplier since the portfolio has strong link to good suppliers/ partners. Good language skills and the opportunity to travel on a regular basis is an requirement.

Responsibilities
As a product specialist, you are the voice of the customer in the creation of product roadmaps and new product development. You will be responsible for translating customer needs into requirements for new product development. You have to make sure the customer's needs and problems is in focus and to balance the needs with what is feasible to achieve. You are also expected to manage and maintain an existing product range. A large portion of the job consists of continuous support, information and training to our sales companies. We are looking for you who would prefer a longer cooperation with the client.


Tasks:
Visit customers, regional offices and dealers globally to collect/confirm and understand business intelligence.
Manage and maintain product ranges and represent the product department in various forums.
Be the key stakeholder in projects lead by our project management organization. In addition you are also expected to have the ability to independently drive small projects according to our sourced process for new product development. 
Visit suppliers together with sourcing and analyze capabilities.
Support sales companies and markets with information and education.


Working hours
Full time with good chances for employment with the client after assignment period. Working hours: Monday - Friday 08.00-17.00. Preferably on site, but a possibility to work remote 2-3 days a week.

Qualifications
The role will suit you who are interested in technology and have ability to understand different customer’s needs (i.e. Consumer to Professionals). Your success in the role will depend on your ability to combine technology, application and customer needs with sound business acumen. The role places high demands on having the ability to drive, follow up and be able to argue from both a technology and customer / business perspective. Another important characteristic is being able to work with administrative tasks around a complex product portfolio. Your ability to collaboration is a key, especially together with our sourcing team since many of the accessories we bring to market can only be accomplished together with strong supplier partnerships.


Required skills:
Experience as a Product Specialist
Great communication, drive and structure
Technical education (Preferred in textile or smart products)
English and Swedish fluently
