We are looking for a Production Engineer with a passion to add value to our customers. Within PSE Industrial Engineering we are responsible for supporting the internal production in complex problem solving by being a strong link to our Development & Technology organization, suppliers and customers. Within the areas of assembly, test and dismantling production engineering you will drive improvements both on process, tools and methods with an end-to-end approach to secure and improve the quality of our products.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden and this is a permanent position. You will report to the Production Engineering Leader.
What you will do
As Production Engineer, you will:
Be responsible for the first line support within the internal production with the aim to secure functional performances of equipment
Make sure that deliveries are on time, delivered with high quality and according to specifications
Lead solving complex technical problems within the Mechanical and Automation area
Contributing to defect free industrialization of new and certified renovated equipment (Product Development and Product Life Cycle projects)
Drive continuous improvement of equipment testing methods according to World Class Manufacturing methodology
Be an active part of joint activities with colleagues and other stakeholders throughout the entire global organization and interact with agility
Perform on the job coaching and training to colleagues and test engineers
Adding value to our customer supporting customization of equipment, taking part in Final Test Participation with customers, focusing on breaking through and continuous improvement opportunities
Contributing with your ideas to improve the production systems, with an end-to-end view from product development to installation phase, through internal production, to customer
Contributing to ECM introduction
Support WCM implementation

You have the ability to work in groups and create strong professional relations with different level of stakeholders. Our Test Factory and the result of our work will highly benefit from your proactive approach and improvement suggestions.
Minimum 5 years work experience from a technical position
A background within Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronic or equivalent experience
Excellent people and presentation skills
Result-oriented person that never compromises on quality
Customer relationship management skills
Self-motivated and driven with a strong customer focus
Hands-on and practical approach
Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize the work
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken is required

Technical Knownledge
A3/Flex, A3/Speed, A3/CompactFlex knowledge
Processing equipment knowledge
WCM methodology knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of automation technology used in the food processing industry
Excellent computer skills
CREO knowledge is a plus
Experience in food & dairy system design is a plus
Knowledge in Rockwell Automation Systems is a plus
