WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The responsibility of role is to implement and eventually run a new Production Unit with focus on manufacturing a special line of high-value cameras with extremely high quality requirements. The cameras will be used in an environment with no room for errors.

The implementation includes building up a production facility as well as hiring and contracting personnel. It will be a small team working close with other departments within Axis, such as R&D, Product management as well as the rest of the Supply Chain team. This Unit will manufacture products according to strict standards and procedures. Thorough work instructions as well as certifications for this unit needs to be implemented during the implementation phase. This phase also includes starting up the production of the first products in this area.

This production unit is planned to grow significantly over the coming years and new products will be introduced regularly and increased volumes are to be expected.

Business and investment plans must be created and executed to meet product road maps.

The Production Manager will have the total performance as well as financial responsibility for this Unit. Therefore you know how to combine high quality demands with a business mindset.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a person you have a strong drive to manage and deliver results. You see this position as an opportunity to create something new and you take great pride in the outcome of it!
You focus on high quality manufacturing, test and assembly to make this possible. You are structured and used to work with- and understand the meaning of following documented processes.

Your knowledge includes the following:

* Extensive production, quality and planning knowledge as a manager from electronics or mechanical assembly.
* Quality- and production systems
* University degree in engineering or business

In addition to this you have general management and business experience including:

* personnel management
* business plans
* investment plans

It´s important that you have the ability to and actually promote a productive and good work environment. You find it easy to communicate, interact and collaborate with different cultures and people.
You are comfortable with formal audits of Quality and productions systems. e.g. ISO 9001 and work continuously with maintaining high standards.

You have at least 10+ years of professional experience.
