Production Manager

Sandvik Coromant in Gimo, with approximately 1600 employees, is a world leader in the area of cemented carbide blades and tools for the drilling, milling and turning of metal. We are currently looking for a driven and results-oriented Production Manager with a feel for people and leadership, who will be responsible for all production workflow groups within Tools' operations at the Gimo plant. We are currently in an exciting development phase and are looking for someone who wants to guide our world-leading Tool operations into the future.

Key performance areas
As Production Manager you work closely with operations, leading and developing the work with respect to both technical solutions and work methods. You are an important link in efficient and profitable production and gladly cooperate with others. Your leadership brings clarity and you have strong capacities for communicating, achieving and following up on the department's goals. With your holistic view of the business, you successfully lead change management processes to develop production processes and make them more efficient. With your knowledge and commitment, you contribute to developing the business and our skilled workforce, as well as a good, safe working environment.

You are part of the management team for Tools production in Gimo.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Alternatively, you may have acquired equivalent knowledge through solid and extensive work experience in production processes and quality assurance. Technical knowledge of Tools production is an advantage. The position requires at least five years' experience from leadership positions in the manufacturing industry, including experience with mentoring managers. You have excellent communicative abilities in both Swedish and English, in speaking as well as writing.
