About the job
We are a team of Production Planners and a Master Data Specialist. Plan is one of main support functions in the GCC Supply Chain. We work closely with other teams such as the Source, Deliver, Make and Warehouse departments. Briefly, Deliver gets orders from customers, Source purchases the raw materials, Plan makes the magic to deliver customer orders in the best possible date, meanwhile Make executes the plan and Warehouse helps with internal and external logistics. All functions in the supply chain focuses on customer needs and Plan is the key to make it more efficient, productive, cost conscious and environmentally friendly.
As our Planner, your primary tasks include:
Plan capacity and contribute to production plan
Continually optimize and update production plan
Follow-up on orders, and coordinate within stakeholders about any deviations
Support / drive continuous improvements identified and prioritized in the team
Attending daily morning meetings with production and inform/escalate issues to other stakeholders in status board meetings
Planning sales and manufacturing orders
Keeping stocks in certain level
Being part of item classification process and being responsible that items have correct data in our ERP system (currently Jeeves but moving to Microsoft Dynamics)
Handling sub supplier orders in case of material shortages/delays
Take actions and create business cases for master planning and supply review platforms where a risk might occur in future due to long term maintenance, machine breakdowns or unexpected demands.



Who you are
You are a robust and energetic person who takes responsibility for your own actions, and keeps a cool head when things go fast in a changing everyday life and organization. Collaboration internally as well as externally comes naturally to you, and you pro-actively approach to the challenges in everyday life. You always put the customer at the center by delivering a high level of performance and service: when the customer succeeds, the team succeeds! You have good social, communication and presentation useful as you will interact with several departments
What you know
· You have prior experience within production planning and/or logistics ideally in a manufacturing company
· University degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Logistics or related field is desirable
· You feel at home in MS Excel, experience with macros or formulations is a plus
· Experience with any ERP system, Jeeves or Microsoft D365 knowledge & experience is an advantage
· Advanced Swedish and Intermediate English language proficiency
