What You´ll Do

As the Production Quality Group Manager, you’ll have a vital role at our manufacturing plant, were you’ll be responsible to secure the manufacturing quality.

We are a high-volume production plant and your main mission will be to ensure high quality of our products and processes but also support in quality methodology and technical know-how to your a team of highly skilled quality engineer.

You’ll work closely with the Production, and Industrial Engineering organizations both from an operational and strategic perspective. You’ll also be a member of the Quality and Operational Management team and report directly to Plant Quality Manager.

As Production Quality group Manager your major responsibilities are:

- Maintain and improve the quality and safety according to customers and Magna´s policies, standards and requirements

- Ensure that the equipment, machines as well as operator instructions etc meets the capability requirements with high quality

- Secure that quality risks and failure rates in our production are prioritized, investigated and that measures are verified and implemented.

- Secure a safe work environment where the work can be carried out without risk of ill health or accidents.

- To Coach, mentor, and develop staff. Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

- Experience in Quality engineering

- Experience in electronics manufacturing

- Documented experience as a Manager within engineering

- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations

- Experience from automotive is a merit

Education
Bachelor's degree, or higher, within engineering, or equivalent work experience
