Cepheid AB, part of the global Cepheid group, is located in Solna, Sweden and has around two hundred employees, mainly in production, quality control, research and development.





As a Program Manager at Cepheid you will be responsible for the coordination and management of multiple related projects, and in many ongoing R&D operations which are directed toward a common objective. Cepheid programs involve new product development of in vitro diagnostic assays. The projects are both Sweden and internationally based and will involve several functions of Cepheid globally. The program Manager reports to Head of Program Management Cepheid Sunnyvale.



The management and coordination of the R&D programs involve:

• Overseeing project and maximizing project resources
• Lead efforts to analyze current project operations and make recommendations for improvement and coordinate the decision making process
• Facilitate information flow between team members, the project leader, senior management and the corporate client
• Responsible for establishing and create cross-functional teams to support research and development process and identify optimal opportunities for product
• Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints


Qualifications:

We think that you have a Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level and are certified in project management. In addition you have:



• Experience working in a formal project management system required and must be facile with project management software
• At least 3 years’ experience of project coordination/ management
• Excellent writing and documentation skills in Swedish and English
• Experience in managing or coordination of R&D projects in a FDA or ISO 9001 compliant setting preferably medical devices industry
• PMP or PgMP Certification from the Project Management Institute
• Meritorious with experience with MS Office suite including Visio & MS Project
• Meritorious with Medical Device / IVD / Pharma Project Management experience




To be successful as a Program Manager at Cepheid you need to be results-oriented and have experience in working in an international and technical environment. You are both organized and collaborative and have excellent communication skills. You work independently, have strong leadership and high level of interpersonal skills.

You are willing to work outside usual office hours, occasionally 17-19 weekdays
