Program manager to Yale Smart Residential as part of ASSA ABLOY in Malmö

Om behalf of the Yale Smart Residential team as a part of ASSA ABLOY we are looking for a committed, driven and entrepreneurial team player to lead, drive and deliver product development projects on-time and in accordance to expectations, within the scope of Smart Residential portfolio of Yale EMEIA. Without exceptions these projects are part of solutions (programs) – whereby having a holistic view on all dependencies is critical to each proposition and to the success of this position.
What you would do as a Program Manager in this team?
The team is increasingly involved in setting strategic choices and direction and planning forward to be efficient in what we do and staying competitive in the face of increasing competitive pressure. This is true both for products and services. The scope of the overall team currently covers smart locking points, alarm systems, surveillance/video solutions, and in-home services. It involves product-, and service development, operations, maintenance and third-line support.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
Project leading development programs. Programs because, in principle, they are always multifaceted including hardware, firmware, app, backend, industrialization and where the product have dependencies to the rest of our ecosystem.
Securing that the programs are able to progress smoothly, on-time and with a managed scope. Deviations to be managed without surprise.
Work to identify dependencies, inter-dependencies and to resolve and/or mitigate (in-time) accordingly.
Work across geographically distributed development organisations – in identifying and securing the scope of work required by each to succeed in your programs endeavour.
Participate in sharing experience and advice among the program management office peers.
In general, represent Yale Smart Residential R&D internally to ASSA ABLOY and externally.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Has a degree slanted toward one or several relevant engineering disciplines.
Has significant relevant work experience, with project management
Has general knowledge of all aspects of system engineering and are able to analyse complex solutions, identify and surface dependencies that need to be addressed to secure the overall program.
Has solid experience in leading projects, preferably within the with consumer electronics domain.
Has excellent people management skills, able to coach & develop team members.
Has good communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Has the ability to define and manage priorities within deadlines.
Can clearly evidence achieving targets and delivering growth.
If you have experience specifically from working consumer products, this is a plus. Fluency in English, willingness to travel, and being culturally aware and able to inspire across diverse teams and working groups, are also important areas to master.

Ideally, you would also have experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries.
