Image Intelligence - IMINT AB is hiring two experienced software developers that would like to work with developing cutting edge image analysis software for aerial reconnaissance unmanned aircraft. IMINT is a small, high-tech company with an open and flexible working environment. We work with national and international well known partners. IMINT is also through its owners, Uppsala University Holding and Professionell Ägarstyrning, linked to some of the best from both the academic and commercial world. Unmanned aircraft as a reconnaissance platform is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing parts of our industry. Anually $2.7 billion is invested which, according to TEAL group, is expected to grow to $8.3 billion in ten years. The image volume is increasing very rapidly as more aircraft are fielded, sensors become more capable and the number of flight hours each aircraft flies increases. This development has created a huge need for automating some of the analysis task using intelligent software. Real time image improvement with respect to image stability, blur removal, etc is also in great demand. Job Description and Qualifications As a software developer with IMINT you will be part of our growing team and work closely with our national and international partners. IMINT is expected to grow substantially during the next few years creating plenty opportunities. Requirements * Experienced software developer * Academic background (3 years or more). * Accustomed with implementing advanced mathematical algorithms in high performance software * Languages Matlab and C/C++. A plus is if you have experience from one ore more of the following * Knowledge from video processing * Parallel computing * Computer graphics * Image analysis You are accustomed to working in collaboration with others and appreciate influence your work and taking responsibility. Your will be primarily located at our office in Uppsala but possibilities to distance work exist.
