Project Buyer

We are offering an exciting position as a Project Buyer in an international environment.A Project Buyer at VALEO is supplying purchasing services in projects and is therefore responsible for the following in accordance with VALEO five core strategies: .Work as a member of the project team and support project team to adjust VALEO needs with supplier's proposals..Help communication issues between supplier and project team and involve target supplier as early as possible into project..Secure the using of Design to Cost and push suppliers to propose best QCD solution by using adapted requirements tools (VRF)..Coordinate with the Family Buyer to find the most appropriate supplier and reach the best solutions regarding the guiding prices including commitments to productivity plan..Assure supplier project to respect VALEO procedure (VALEO Standards) and propose correctives actions if necessary..Drive supplier projects follow-up with planning and costs for material and tools..Compile and present statistics and account of projects. Job Requirements: We expect that you have a University degree and 3 years experience in Purchasing as a minimum, within the automotive industry (senior buyer appreciated).It is important that you have a good technological, market & supplier knowledge.Good verbal and communication skills and advanced English level in both writing and communicating is necessary.
