Project Engineer

Our client is a successful global corporation producing advanced materials for the Process Industry.The Swedish site is located in a dynamic and attractive part in the south of Sweden.The company is organized in manufacturing departments consisting of 50-100 employees in each department.HR, Sales & Marketing, Quality, Development, Finance etc are other functions located at the site, but reports directly to the European HQ.The company is now looking to recruit a Project Engineer with international ambitions.As Project Engineer you will; * lead and, when required, participate in projects within as well as outside your department, but preferably within manufacturing * be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, reports and development of projects lead by you * have economical authority according to the company's instructions for attestation or other enforcing documents * be introduced to different parts of the operations in Sweden in order to be prepared to take on a managerial position within 1-3 years Candidate profile You have preferably an Engineering degree at University level or equivalent.A few years of experience from mechanical manufacturing, automotive and/or process industry is an advantage.It is of importance that you are familiar with Lean Manufacturing.You have excellent written and spoken language skills in both Swedish and English and knowledge of business economics is of an advantage.We are looking for a positive team player and an effective communicator.You're self confident and independent, as well as a competent problem-solver and a future decision-maker who can get the job done.In addition, you have excellent analysis- and planning skills and ability to handle several tasks at the same time.A will to take on other positions further on and on a higher level, within the company and outside Sweden, will be regarded as positive.
