Project Engineer, Malmö

Job description
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join Air Liquides Nordic Project Engineering team in Malmö. This is a great opportunity for you to learn from an experienced and skilled team, collaborate with a wide range of customers and lead exciting projects in the Nordics.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Project Engineer who wants to grow together with a talented team, work closely with our customers and collaborate with different departments in order to widen your network.

As a Project Engineer at Air Liquide, one day is not like the other as you will lead gas construction and installation work from start to finish. This means that one day you will join Sales Representatives at customer sites, give advice and prepare offers. You will then go back to the office to construct the installation in AutoCAD, book technicians and tools, create purchase orders for material and organize necessary work permits. You will also regularly visit the site to support the installation work and communicate with the customer. Taking part in qualifying our suppliers is also a part of your role, i.e ensuring that they fulfill Air Liquide’s and authorities’ safety and quality requirements.

In the engineering team we have many years of work experience so you will be able to learn fast and develop your skills on the job. In other words, you do not need experience from gas system installation, we will give you extended training in the “Air Liquide way”.

The position comes with a minimum of 60 days of travelling per year and you will get a company car to travel safe and comfortable. There is great flexibility regarding if you want to work on site or at home, with around one day a week of scheduled meetings at the office.

Qualifications
To thrive and be happy in this position, we wish that you bring the following knowledge and experience:
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience in working with creating offers and doing the calculations that are the foundation of the tender
• Knowledge in SAP
• A great technical interest
• Enjoy travelling in your line of work

We will be extra interested if you have experience in the gas industry and/or if you have experience as a project manager. 

We believe that you are a person likes a customer centric role, who enjoy and see the value of networking both internally and externally. You like problem solving and have a structured way of working with a straight forward sense of communicating. Planning and following up on projects and work assignments are natural parts of your work and adapt easily to new prerequisites.
