Network Control provides leading network management and control systems for planned and unplanned outage management, generation, transmission and distribution management systems, SCADA and process control solutions, and commercial energy portfolio management tools for planning, forecasting and running your day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities
As Station Operation and Monitoring Engineer with focus area Cyber Security, you will work with high quality deliveries and cost-efficient Cyber Security solutions for our customers.
You will focus on interpreting customer specifications into sustainable Cyber Security solutions and adaptations of our solutions to applicable Cyber Security regulations.
In this work you will get in touch with various topics like System Access Control (Windows Active Directory), System Hardening and Documentation, Malicious Software Protection etc.
In close collaboration with our control system engineers you will take responsibility for design, implementation and verification of Cyber Security solutions in our high performance MACHTM control system.
To achieve this, you will need to have frequent contact with other engineering groups, project managers, local Hitachi ABB Power Grids offices and our customers.

Your background
A BSc or MSc in engineering, with a specialization in data communication and network technology, computer science or similar is required.
Preferably you combine your education with some years of experience from similar engineering positions working with process- or substation automation.
Knowledge and experience of the following is required: Industrial Control System security standards: ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, NERC CIP; Windows and Active Directory administration; Network administration and network security.
To excel in this position, you need to be organized, responsive and solution-driven, with a strong focus on delivering results and serving the customer.
An outgoing personality is a must, as this job entails a great deal of customer contacts and close cooperation with colleagues and suppliers.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
