As a Project Engineering Leader (PEL) you will be a part of Autoliv’s Application Engineering department and belong to a group that contains PELs, Designers (DE) and Project Engineers (PE) where we together continuously develop our way of working.
Assignments and Responsibilities

You will be responsible to globally lead and develop new products within the area. You will mainly lead the technical part of one or more customer projects. You will have the ability to delegate tasks to DE and PE and be responsible for the Engineering part against the Project Manager and Customer. You will work in close collaboration with several internal and external partners to make sure to meet the Project targets.
Qualifications
At least Bachelor’s degree within Engineering field or other equivalent background
Good knowledge within Product Development
At least 5 years’ experience of Product Development/ Industry relevant experience
Experience within the field of Seatbelt engineering is meritorious
Good ability and strong will to lead and drive tasks and collaborate with others
Strong will to lead a smaller engineering team and/or experience from leading a team
Interest in working with product development
Good ability to work and cooperate with customers
Positive approach on creative problem solving and innovative mindset
Understanding of structured quality assurance work
Openminded and curious
You have a well-developed communicative ability
Good in taking initiatives for improvements
Basic knowledge of business economics
The role requires that you can communicate freely in English both in speech and writing
