About the Assignment
We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to take a key technical role in synchronous condenser projects within the Large Motors & Generators domain. In this position, you will lead engineering activities end-to-end, acting as the primary technical interface towards stakeholders such as customers, subcontractors, and internal project functions. You will join a dynamic and highly skilled team working in an international setup, with strong focus on quality, safety, and contract compliance.
Job DescriptionLead and coordinate technical engineering activities in synchronous condenser projects
Ensure technical delivery is executed effectively and in line with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Act as the primary technical interface towards project stakeholders, with particular focus on the customer
Support contract managers as well as commissioning and start-up activities with technical expertise
Create, review, track, and respond to engineering change requests
Evaluate and manage technical risks and opportunities
Drive technical solutions to maximize platform reuse while ensuring customer requirement compliance
Support sales by contributing to technical input for new project proposals
RequirementsTechnical university degree in a relevant engineering field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical lead/engineering coordination role
Experience working in global environments and coordinating cross-functional teams
Good understanding of risk and opportunity management
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to haveExperience from the power systems domain
