Are you a motivated and independent person capable of finding your own path and way of working? We are looking for a Project Leader for Category & Retail Marketing (Swedish and English) to our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity, a 2-year contract starting ASAP with a possibility for an extension.

About the role   As a project leader within the Category Marketing team, as well as the Retail Marketing team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering on projects within the defined scope of the project.

Category Marketing

The category marketing team acts as the link between HQ, various marketing departments and local sales functions to initiate and implement category marketing activities including for example go-to-market planning with focus on the retail presence and above/below the line advertising campaigns.

Retail Marketing

Amongst other things, the retail marketing team is responsible for go-to-market process for product launches and implementing/following up on Nordic design guidelines. The team is also responsible for implementing and maintaining display fixtures in the retail environment as well as securing retail consistency in the Nordics.

Job Description

Some of the tasks and responsibilities in this job are:

You will be managing pre-defined projects within the IM Marketing Nordic organizations yearly and quarterly plan with full responsibility from initial briefing, budget management, alignment and liaison with internal and external stakeholders, preparing presentations, agency briefing, follow-up.
You will ensure that assigned projects are planned, executed and effectively supported by suitable and required media support, PR initiatives, social and digital marketing as well as local offline media when needed. You will also actively present ideas for new ways of activating SENA IM line-up in order to drive retention and promote switching, with the overarching objective of becoming the #1 loved brand in the Nordics and achieving IM sales objectives.
You will be managing external ad-hoc and recurring events and related activation, both in-store and in other external locations
Maintaining and enhancing the coordination of the Nordic marketing plan and product launches with the local Customer marketing functions in order to secure a coordinated approach towards the respective markets in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Your profile To fit in this role, we believe you are a structured person with the ability to manage multiple priorities, short deadlines and take decisions under uncertainty. You’re great at communicating and comfortable with taking own initiatives and drive implementation. You have a big picture scope in the way you plan, with attention to detail when you’re executing.

Qualifications required:

You have a University degree or similar, preferably with a major in Marketing
You have Project Management experience, from a wide range of projects
Consumer Insights experience
MS Office, mainly Excel and PPT
Fluent in English and Swedish
You have experience of channel Sales and Marketing
You have a grasp of the foundations of the media mix, ranging from conventional offline, to online and experiential marketing, with an emphasis on driving traffic to events and other activation
You have experience from a Nordic matrix organization.
You have experience from an organization working with retail environment
