Project Leader, Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Leader on behalf of the client, a global supplier of propulsion technology and powertrain solutions that are renowned for their innovation and quality. The company with a legacy in the automotive industry, specializes in high-efficiency, low-emission engines and is expanding into sustainable powertrain technologies. As part of their mission to reimagine motion for a greener future, we are now looking for a skilled Equipment Engineer/Project Leader to contribute to their design of tomorrow’s powertrain solutions for automotive and beyond.
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement equipment solutions for various projects, including product projects, capacity enhancements, and non-product initiatives
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, plant engineering, production, and external suppliers to ensure our power systems meet customer expectations.
- Lead and coordinate efforts in final and base assembly processes, ensuring project targets are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in turning and grinding processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage and guide a team.
- Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in safety, reliability, and cost analysis are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
