Project Leader for China-related business

JOB DUTIES: -Provide business consulting services to Wermland Chamber of Commerce member companies and be the faciliator of China-related issues; find suppliers, professional services etc in China, faciliate business links with China, etc. - Project leader and coordinator for China-relatd projects, accompany business delegations and induvidual companies to China. -Write newsletters, compile information summaries on certain industry topics about China. -Work closely with INVA (Invest in Värmland Agency), providing information to Chinese potential investors. -Help organize activities for other chamber projects; i.e.helping SMEs to build up their capacity to meet the challenges of globalisation and the internationalization of business. REQUIREMENTS: -Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English -Previous project management experience. Must indedependenty hande contacats with the Chinese authorities and companies. -Good knowledge of the Chinese market and Chinese businessculture, as well its differences with Swedish (and other Nordic) business culture; several years of working and living in China preferred. -Strong communication and preentation skills. with distinctive ability to create personal relationships (networking). Ability to interpret between Mandarin Chinese and English. - Media writing background and research skills preferred, as the position calls for writing of newsletters and project reports. Some translation of documents between Chinese and English may also be required. - Willing and able to undertake extended travel to China.
