Operating within the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit, Service North & West focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating wind power plants within our region. Together with our colleagues throughout Vestas, we handle some of the most exciting projects, for some of the most complex customers in Europe.

You have the opportunity to work in a developing industry and will be part of a motivated and committed Project Leader team of 13 located in different countries. This role will be located in Malmö, Sweden.


Responsibilities:
The Operation Development department act as regional Service partner for the Vestas Service Onshore North & West organisation, with the goals to continuously improve and support the execution of the service strategy. This includes co-developing and ensuring the use of best practice methods and processes, overall standards, performance management and steering the portfolio of improvement initiatives.


As a Project Leader your responsibilities will be:
Lead, coordinate and supervise the implementation of regional projects such as improvement, efficiency, and cost-out initiatives in the Service Onshore North & West organization
Facilitate scoping and work breakdown of projects; develop and establish project timelines and action plans to ensure internal targets are met
Manage execution according to project plan in close collaboration with the Service Areas; organize and control project stages
Report on project progress, project control plan milestones, project metrics, obstacles, and risks through monthly project reports and communications
Actively coordinate project stakeholders inside and outside the Service Onshore North & West organization
Support the implementation of new processes and procedures in Vestas project management
Enable, ensure, and direct implementation of KPI´s according to implementation of projects



Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education
3+ years of work experience in a project environment or matrix organization
Project management certificate
Fluent in English and Swedish
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications



Competencies:
Efficient project management skills with the ability to steer complex improvement projects across the organization
Good time management, good organizational skills, and high energy needed to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
Ability to communicate in a clear and structured way, both written and verbally
Positive team-oriented person
Willingness to dive into technical details and topics
Ability to guide project members
