Project Manager in Charge for Security Technology of the Future
Clavister is continously investing in development of technology and products to meet the current and future requirements on IT security.In one of the larger research and development projects within Clavister, the foundation for Clavister's next generation technology is being designed and built.This technology specifically targets products for large multimedia and telecom networks.
The project includes design and development of a completely new software architecture, as well as design and production of new hardware platforms using the latest available hardware technology.
For this project, Clavister is now recruiting a business-oriented project manager with experience of managing technical product development projects.

Your role as project manager includes:
.Overall responsibility for managing the product development project.
.Being the organizational leader ("team leader") with staff responsibility for the project team.
.Creating and maintaining the main project plan for reaching the objectives for the overall project.
.Execute on the project plan; i.e.coordinating internal and external resources, being responsible for project expense budget, reviews, quality assurance, documentation, reporting progress and other regular project management activities.
.Building up and maintaining the organization needed to execute on the project plan.
.In addition, it is expected that you will be an ambassador for Clavister with regards to the new product generation, i.e.taking part in business discussions with strategic customers (telecom equipment providers, telecom operators, large key accounts and so forth).
.Reporting directly to Clavister's CTO.

To assist you in your role, a technical lead within the project has the overall responsibility for the technical aspects (design, architecture etc) of the new technology.
In addition, the current project team consists of a number of experienced senior software developers, architects and hardware engineers.The team is expected to grow to 25-30 persons within the coming 12 months.

Requirements:
.Currently working as a project manager within the telecom or IT industry, and have been working at least three years with project management.
.Business-oriented in your role as manager and you have full understanding of how to execute a development project within a commercial environment.
.An encouraging team leader with proven ability to manage and motivate team members.
.Interested in the network security market and the evolution of technology in general.
.Able to speak, write and communicate fluently in English.
