Project Manager

Position Description The Department "Product maintenance", within Research & Development (R&D) , has three main responsibilities; Product cost, field quality and production adjustments for Haulers and Loaders. In order to increase the delivery of Product maintenance projects we are looking for a: Project Manager As Project Manager you will report to Head of Product Maintenance and your main responsibility will be to manage the different Product Maintenance projects within Hauler & Loader Business Line. Tasks and Responsibilities: The operational work is carried out in accordance with the product maintenance process, from preparing phase, through development, industrialization until follow-up phase. This is done in a cross functional way, involving colleagues from R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, After Market and other divisions within Volvo Construction Equipment. You will be responsible to ensure that different projects delivers product improvements in order to meet defined targets regarding features, quality and cost within defined time frames. Besides the operational work, managing the project, you will also actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aiming to increase efficiency within the product maintenance-process. Profile and Qualifications: In order to assume the position as Project Manager You need to have: strong proven leadership capabilities a continuous drive for improvements ability to multi-task and flexibility bachelor in Mechanical engineering or equivalent education or experience good English skills, fluent spoken and written The position requires some travelling, mostly within Sweden The position is assigned in Braås or Eskilstuna.
