Jeppesen Sweden, Göteborg is seeking a Project Manager Opportunity: Jeppesen is looking for a Project Manager for placement within Professional Services.The successful canditate will be managing one or more product customization and deployment projects in Jeppesen s Aviation program.The successful candidate will have a full project responsibility from project initiation to effective implementation and sign off of the project.You will have responsibility for ensuring that your project delivers to time, budget, and quality and for managing client and key stakeholder expectations.Main tasks are: Manage the project team through initiation, definition, implementation, deployment and handover Proactively monitor and manage budgets, plans, issues and risks Follow up on project goal fullfillment Communicate to internal and external steering committees and stakeholders Actively participate in process improvement Must have skills: Degree in either Engineering or business Administration Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience SW development experience Previous exposure to working in a structured analysis and delivery environment Experience from working with international clients Strong communication and client facing skills Strong command of the English language Nice to have skills: Other language skills beyond English Exposure to the Airline Industry Certification in a project methodology such as PMI Expectations: You are probably currently working as a Project Manager in a consulting role, or for a company within the Telecom, IT or Management Consulting industry.You have hands-on experience from managing system deployment and process change projects from analysis and design to development and implementation.Although this is a hands-off role, a technical understanding of data communications, systems modeling and software development technologies and processes are advantageous.As a person you are analytical, motivated and a driving force who enjoys leading an international team striving to achive common goals.International travel can be expected.The position is permanent.At Jeppesen in Göteborg, almost 300 employees develop and implement cutting-edge optimization solutions for airlines, railways and logistics companies.Clients include world-leading companies like KLM, SAS, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Delta Airlines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Deutsche Bahn, DSB, and Green Cargo.Jeppesen has pioneered several new methods and algorithms for solving large, complex optimization problems, and we participate in joint research at some of the world's leading universities.
