Project Manager

Our client Gamesa, who is one of the worlds main wind turbine manufacturers with over 6.300 employees, is looking for a Project Manager.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding worldwide leading company where your professional career could develop as quick as the sector.Job description As Project Manager you will manage projects, business development and client management for wind energy projects.Your duties will include: - to develop environmental studies and permits for specific projects in consultation with clients.- to prepare proposals, including the development of technical schedules and cost estimates.- to manage and coordinate project activities to achieve all necessary regulatory sitting, and environmental requirements and approvals needed to achieve project construction.- to provide documentation for sites, land use, wildlife permits; negotiate with regulatory agencies to achieve permit conditions.- the understanding of relevant regulations including identification and implementation of the optimal consenting strategy as well as leading consultations.- the overall management of the outline design, liaison with all relevant Supply Chain Personnel.- the management and motivation of the project team, including external agencies.- to take the lead on all consented applications and associated stakeholder management.- to provide technical and commercial support and advice to owners and developers throughout the projects life circle.- the evaluation of site performance testing, guarantees, liquidated damages, wind measurement and resource management.- the management of wind farm layout and constraints.- to be responsible for preparation and the follow-up of proposals.- managing workflows.- compliance with and understanding of health & safety legislation. You will report to the Swedish Country Manager.To start with you will work from an homeoffice, preferably located in the Sundsvall area or the mid Norrland area. Job Qualifications - Bachelor?s degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Preference may be given to candidates with advanced degrees.- Minimum three years experience in project permitting and environmental review.- Experience and knowledge of environmental processes and permitting regulations.- Understanding and experience of state and local land use regulations.- Demonstrated problem solving, project management, negotiating and oral and written communication skills.- Working knowledge of Windows based business software applications.- Proven technical abilities in the wind energy sector or similar.- Committed to hard work and continual learning.- You are fluent in Swedish and English.
