Project manager

Your day-to-day work
• Drive projects and deliver agreed results
• To build, coordinate and provide direction by creating a motivated, engaged and empowered project team equipped to deliver desired value from the project.
• Actively engage the receiving unit to ensure fulfilment of project outcome and business benefit realization
• Clarify expectations and scope through stakeholder management and communication.
• Handling risks and deviation and prepare decision foundation where consequences are clear for different alternatives
• Manage project stages, budget, cost follow up, forecasts etc
• Support in business case preparation


We expect you to have
• A strong interest in digitalization as a tool to increase performance in manufacturing
• A good understanding in what is required for software development
• A passion in transforming data into value by setting clear requirements and writing use stories
• Solid and proven project management skills with “hands on” experience of successfully running projects into implementation (realization)
• Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to inspire & build strong teams in an international setup.
• Strong business and result focus, always starting with the customer, in everything. Actively engage across internal borders to reach common goals. Challenge the status quo to achieve world class results; connect all actions to clear impact and goals. Inspire and encourage team members to live these behaviors
• Excellent teamwork & ability of working cross functional: be able to establish a network across functions and units, and act as an integrator and support colleagues to work well together. Work with a complete value chain approach in mind.
• Strong change management skills
• Experience from manufacturing is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills.
• SCRUM management training is meritorious
• English language: be fluent in both writing and speaking
• University degree in engineering, IT, business admin or equivalent

Additional information for you
Preferred location is Gothenburg, Sweden. Other major SKF sites in Europe could be considered but only with local contract.
You will report to the Manager - Project & Portfolio manager.
