Project Manager

OMX is a world leading partner for more efficient securities transactions.With our expertise in the exchange industry, we deliver comprehensive solutions that connect markets, improve efficiency and, ultimately, increase the competitiveness and profitability of our customers.In this position you will manage projects within Business Unit IT Services and be part of the Project Office.You will have project responsibility, making sure that deadlines and budgets are met.You steer, guide, co-ordinate and coach the project team.Over time, the projects will vary from a mix of internal projects and external deliveries.This position requires travelling to some extent.The assignment includes * Define project scope, project budget and related project milestones.* Define internal and external project deliverables based on underlying contract and/or project directives.* Manage technical and functional requirements, i.e.system surveillance, operational, performance, availability, capacity and robustness requirements in line with needs in the financial industry.* Deliver system solutions including e.g.infrastructure design, set-up of hardware, networks, operating systems and application software together with the project team. * Prepare for support and maintenance set-up together with the line organization. Qualified candidates should have * University degree.* Preferably more than 5 years of professional experience whereof 3 years experience from project management.* Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish.* Computer skills in Microsoft Office. * Excellent project management and leadership skills.* Good financial industry knowledge.* Experience from projects with close relation to IT operation and maintenance.* Experience from working with suppliers of Application software, Communication, Hardware and Layered software. To suit this position you have natural leadership skills.You show a great will to succeed and to form a winning team.You are an initiator and motivator with a structured approach, comfortable with performing under time pressure.Furthermore you are customer focused and target oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
