Project Manager for Contract Orders Alfa Laval

Main tasks As an international project manager, you will interact with customers, consultants, inspectors, sales companies and market units.You will be involved with global customer projects from the quotations phase and then responsible from order placement to delivery, working with a team of internal experts.This means you participate in bid clarification meetings to secure the technical part of the contract prior to signing, you coordinate the project within Alfa Laval once signed and you are responsible that the material and documentation meet customer demand in terms of quality and service.Commercial and technical control of changes to the scope of supply are also part of your responsibility.[ Who are you?You are an organised, service -minded person who likes to interact with other people and you want to listen to the voice of the customer.You enjoy problem-solving by using your technical skills, combined with your commercial interest, and you use your positive drive and multi-tasking ability to meet the customers' expectations.We are looking for someone interested in long-term, strategic challenges building long lasting customer relations through excellence in delivery.You are preferably also experienced in this type of process change management, working constantly with continuous improvements to meet customers expectations.[You have a technical university degree or equivalent.Experience from the nuclear power industry,[ off-shore or process industry as well as project management is an advantage.Depending on your background we will gradually develop you into the role.You are fluent in English.The position will include some international travel.[ About the company Alfa Laval develops, manufactures and sells special products and world-class technical solutions that help our customers optimize the performance of their processes.Time and time again.Our equipment and systems create solutions for heating, cooling, separation and fluid handling of products such as oil, chemicals, water, beverages, foodstuffs, starch and pharmaceuticals.Alfa Laval has approximately 9,500 employees in more than 50 countries covering over 100 markets.We have just created a new Alfa Laval with a new spirit and a strong focus, that will reinforce our position as a global leader within the areas where we operate.Our solid base is our shared goals and values.We are customer oriented.We dare to do things differently.We are open, informal and flexible.We create reliable and cost-efficient solutions.We are a totally new company, founded in 1883.
