Job description
The role as Project Manager at Vigmed, gives you the opportunity to lead product development projects from concept through to launch. By doing so you will be part of developing products that can make a real difference in healthcare. Here´s the chance to make an impact, both on a strategic and operational level.

Responsibilities
With Vigmed you will lead projects from definition of a customer need through to the very launch. Working in an international environment, in global cross-functional teams. 

Vigmed develops products with the aim to make a real difference in health care, for health care professionals and patients. Your role will be strategic and administrative in terms of building business cases, setting time plans, budgets and following up on progress. And you will also get the chance to contribute hands on in the product development, alongside the rest of the team and in direct contact with customers. Therefor it is important that you identify with drivers in both areas. 

In Helsingborg, you will join a small team with an open and supportive culture, where everybody takes great accountability for their work. In addition, you will play an important part of the global group Greiner Bio-One.

Qualifications
To enjoy and excel in this role, we believe that you have the following knowledge and experience:
• BSc or MSc within a relevant field, for example pharmaceuticals, technology or microbiology
• Education in project management with a minimum of 5 years working experience 
• Willingness to travel in your line of duty
• Fluent in English, both in speech and in writing
• A base in Sweden or Denmark, accompanied with relevant work permit

To be the right person for this role, your way of working needs to be defined by proactivity, drive, an analytical mindset and openness. We believe that you are a strong leader, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You will work globally, so having a clear communication style is key and you enjoy having lots of partners in your daily work both internally and externally. You naturally take accountability and see to it that milestones are met on time. Always delivering high quality and structure.

We will be even more excited to meet you if you have experience in working in global, cross functional projects and if you have experience from launching products in Europe, the United States or Asia. And if you really want to make us curious, you have experience of working according to MDR and/or FDA. We will also see it as a plus if you have knowledge in Swedish or other Nordic languages and if you have experience from working in a smaller company.

Vigmed is a company within medical devices. We are situated in Helsingborg with a mission to eliminate needle stick injuries within healthcare during intravenous and arterial catherization. Our philosophy when developing the first range of products was to provide the health care workers with familiar, high quality, affordable products, which provide increased protection from needle sticks. Today, we market products for intravenous and arterial catheterization first launched in 2014 – all with an automatic safety function built-in. Our products are available in all of Western Europe and on selected markets outside Western Europe. Our short-term focus is to establish ourselves in the market with existing or upgraded products, and long term to innovate and launch even better solutions than what is present in the market today.  

During 2017, Vigmed became part of Greiner Bio-One (GBO), which is a privately held, Austrian company within the Med Tech industry. Combining the innovative capabilities and “center of excellence” knowledge within Vigmed with GBOs market position and financial strength is expected to accelerate our growth even further.
