You will be part of HVDC Service, in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems as well as to interconnect ac networks asynchronously to achieve optimized operation.
The maintenance department lead and support the global execution of long-term service agreements (LTSA). The overall goal is to reach growth milestones in the maintenance and LTSA market, to gain new business opportunities by supporting the tendering activities, efficiently executing service contracts and achieving customer satisfaction. You will be part of an exciting phase to build up and structure a maintenance team in Ludvika, in close collaboration with our Local Service Centers (LSCs). You will report to global Maintenance Service Manager based in Ludvika.
Your responsibilities
As project manager for LTSA projects you have the comprehensive responsibility for project execution, budget, time schedule and project scope.
You will lead the project team and effective communication with both internal & external stakeholders.
You will be the customer voice into our organization and will secure customer satisfaction and achievement of overall project goals. Our Projects are global and multidisciplinary and deal with partial as well as comprehensive maintenance contracts of new and existing HVDC projects.
Responsible for global service contracts, both as standalone contracts and as part of a greenfield project.
Main contact for the customer, subcontractors and the local Hitachi ABB Power Grids organization.
Project team management to ensure that you have the necessary project resources to execute the service contract.
Manage all subcontractors and follow-up the actions with the technical departments and the customer.
Close collaboration within project core team contract management, controlling, HSE.
Responsible for the financial reporting and to perform bi-monthly project reviews.

Your background
You hold bachelor’s degree in engineering, Financial management or Project management and have a minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in project management from utilities or industries.
Experience in maintenance area and project management from Substations or HVDC or FACTS projects will be an advantage.
Experience from preparation of time schedule, scope description and budget are required.
Involvement in technical project delivery or Operation & Maintenance project execution.
Project Management certification will be an advantage.
Experience from field operations, installation and commissioning work is desirable.
Teambuilding skills to promote good relations and synergy both internally and externally. Goal-oriented, driven, customer-focused with a commercial mindset.
Proficiency in Swedish and English languages – both written and spoken.
