Division and Location


This position is based within the ImmunoDiagnotics Division (IDD) in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher develop, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide, and 1,000 in Sweden, we are the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.


How will you make an impact?


Product Stewardship supports IDD to have compliant products and related processes in place to meet applicable laws, regulations and standards and thereby attain and maintain global market access. As we expand our portfolio offering internationally you will play a key role in supporting our products reaching more patients. As a Project Manager you will join the Product Stewardship team belonging to the Product Compliance function in Global QA/RA. The team consists of Project Managers, who lead cross functional product compliance projects and activities.


What will you do?
Lead projects and activities within the product compliance scope
Working in line with the Product Compliance Process and IDD Project Management Models
Represent Product Stewardship in the compliance field in product development and product care projects and governing forums
Support the organization’s requirement responsible persons in their review and implementation of new or updated laws and standards issued by authorities
Perform GAP- and impact/business risk analysis
Support hand-over of project to line management, closure of activities
Maintain IDD’s registry of applicable laws, regulations and standards in collaboration with responsible functions
Act as point of contact for Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporate, other divisions and local/regional commercial organizations
Perform value stream mapping and advance work processes
Plan, monitor and report progress on projects/activities

How will you get there?
A Master’s degree in the engineering, natural sciences or related field
3+ years experience working as a project manager
Experience from working in the life-science industry governed by regulations such as ISO13485 and QSR
Experience from working in the life science field with product development, regulatory affairs and/or quality assurance is advantageous.
