About the Role

As a Project Manager Purchasing, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing purchasing activities within product development projects for one of the world’s leading transport companies. This is a consultant assignment where you will be employed by Wrknest and work on-site at the client’s location.

Your mission will involve ensuring quality, delivery precision, and budget adherence, ultimately contributing to customer success. You will collaborate closely with departments such as R&D, quality, and production to ensure first-class products are delivered to end customers.

Your Future Responsibilities

You will take the lead in driving purchasing projects with a focus on time, quality, and cost. Key tasks include:

Managing purchasing processes, ensuring supplier budget and timeline adherence.

Overseeing risk management and quality assurance.

Collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute roadmaps aligned with purchasing goals.

Supporting product development teams by securing purchasing input throughout the process.

Analyzing large datasets and presenting insights through tools like Power BI.



Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you need strong communication skills and the ability to work in a structured and analytical manner. We’re looking for someone who has:

A university degree in Engineering/Technology and/or Business Administration.

5+ years of experience in purchasing and project management.

Experience in the automotive industry or managing large, complex projects.

A collaborative mindset with a focus on trust-based teamwork.

Knowledge of AGILE product development methodology.

Familiarity with tools like Power BI (knowledge of systems such as SPOT, Kola, GPS, and IMT is a bonus).

Scope: Full-time, with flexibility in workplace and hours.

Employment Type: Permanent through Wrknest, consultant assignment at the client.
