Project Manager Supply Chain to Alfa Laval

Operations Development has a pro-active role to develop Alfa Laval's supply chain processes together with business divisions, sales companies and suppliers.Several supply chain initiatives have been taken and there are still a lot of challenges ahead.We will now strengthen our team with an additional project manager. Main tasks As a project manager you will act as a specialist in one or more of supply chain's competence areas, for example sales & operations planning, inventory management or supplier development.You will be providing expertise to our internal customers and work closely with purchasing, manufacturing and logistics.You will be based in Lund, with 50-100 travelling days per year. Your background You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.You also have at least five years of substantial experience from one or more of the specialist areas within supply chain.Experience from the manufacturing area, line and/or project management experience in particular, is highly valued.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is an advantage as is any further education within the supply chain area, for example APICS.As a person you are curious, eager to acquire new knowledge and competent in communicating and implementing your ideas in the organization.You are fluent in Swedish and English.
