Project Manager - Technical Infrastructure

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden. For our customer we are looking for a project manager. Project Objectives . Source and contract Network services that aggressively reduce costs whilst maintaining quality of service (QoS) at a business justified level. 1. Reduce number of existing international vendors from 3 to 2 2. Evaluate reducing number of domestic WAN providers 3. Standardize governance model for SLA compliance. . Implement model to secure long term price competitiveness and flexibility. (one exists to-day) . Assess and implement optional scope items which can further drive down costs. 1. LAN sourcing 2. WAN router management Qualifications - Professional Skills & Competences .Proven record of successful project delivery .Extensive experience managing IT related projects .Experience running Network Projects will be a plus .Experience working with suppliers .Strong Negotiation skills Qualifications - Personal Skills & Competences The candidate should possess: .Strong communication and interpersonal skills .A result-oriented work ethic to always deliver on-time, on-scope and on-budget .A team player mentality .An awareness and appreciation of social and cultural differences .The ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations confidently & effectively .The ability to work independently on problems & issues English is needed for this job.
