ADS Practice for Customer Service and Warranty is a department within VC IT that is responsible for providing IT service to the Volvo Car Customer Service and Warranty organizations. We are responsible for a portfolio of applications that handles the total logistic process from ordering the parts from supplier to shipping the parts from our different warehouses to our dealers round the world as well as applications that handles claims, warranty analysis and workshop services to the cars.

Job Description:

The Parts Logistic IT team supports the Finance, Business Development and Logistic organizations with IT project management/business analysis, IT
maintenance / enhancement and IT consultancy.

This job posting is for a position within Parts IT Team to work as a project manager and be responsible for analysis, projects and roll-outs within the Parts area.

Manage IT projects by performing the five project management core processes (initiation, plan, execute, control, and close)
Manage, plan and coordinate roll-out of applications based on defined business requirements
Utilizes corporate project management methodologies, processes and tools
Interfaces with outside vendors to acquire goods and services
Participate in the creation and execution of the solutions/activities
Work with IT partners to identify business value
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business requirements
Aware of technical needs of the assigned customer group
Performs investigations, feasibility and analytical studies on the business
Utilizes knowledge of multiple job families and organizations in working with specialists to enable quick and effective solutions
Liaising with colleagues within PAG and FMC to evaluate, select and deploy common solutions, in line with business strategy and business case evaluations
Facilitate and contribute to project chartering sessions


Profile Qualifications:

Project Management
Business/System analysis skills
Fluency in written and oral English
Academic degree preferable
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
Embrace change, think broad and thrive under challenging conditions
