Project Manager/Senior Audit Adviser

ARBETSUPPGIFTER Riksrevisionen - the Swedish National Audit Office (SNAO) - seeks a motivated and skilled professional, who is a good communicator and interested in taking on the position as Senior Audit Adviser to our development cooperation project with the Curtea de Conturi a Republicii Moldova - Court of Accounts (CoA) - in Moldova. For further information regarding the project, please visit our website www.riksrevisionen.se Duties and responsibilities The Senior Audit Adviser is responsible for a wide range of different tasks and duties: . To ensure the successful planning, implementation, coordination, management and monitoring of a wide range of interventions together with the CoA and in close coordination with the SNAO headquarters . To provide professional assistance in the development and implementation of annual development plans . To take on the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the cooperation project and for interaction with the CoA contact points, management and staff . To liaise with relevant stakeholders and coordinate with other projects and programmes, as well as with representatives of the Parliament, Government and international donors . To prepare relevant updates and reports on the results of the project on a regular basis . To supervise the preparation and submission of financial management reports according to the requirements of SNAO. KVALIFIKATIONER Professional qualifications We are looking for a person with the following qualifications: . Academic degree relevant for the post (economics, accounting/auditing or management). . Extensive professional experience from financial audit in the public sector (5 years or more), preferably from working in a Supreme Audit Institution. . Experience of project management, including planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting. We value a result oriented approach in all activities. . Experience of change management, organisational development and/or capacity development processes. . Strong communication skills and proven ability to interact with people of different cultures and positions as well as the ability to establish and maintain good working relations with key stakeholders. . Experience of coaching in a public sector environment. . Good understanding of general frameworks and challenges in public administration reform and international development cooperation. . Experience from working with international development projects is an asset. . Proficiency in English. Additional language skills relevant for the post (primarily Romanian or Russian) are considered an asset.
